When not posing on the beaches of Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta for their 2012 swimsuit calendar, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders spent some time touring the Banderas Bay region.

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico - The recent visit of America's Sweethearts for the 2012 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Calendar photo shoot on the beaches of Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta was a major event promoted under the slogan One Destination, Two Paradises.

"The most important thing is to take good care of the Cheerleaders – and the truth is that they’ve done a great job in pampering them," said Bill Bates, the legendary Safety of the Dallas Cowboys, who visited both destinations together with the popular cheerleaders of this football team.

"Crazy" Bates signed autographs for fans during a cocktail hosted by Grupo Marival, which is supporting this joint promotional campaign between Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta. The event took place before the presentation of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders to the touristic industry, where they participated in a Fashion Show and did two dances, showing their enthusiasm to come back to this region in Mexico, which they love to visit.

"America’s Sweethearts" did the calendar photo shoots in heavenly spots of Riviera Nayarit such as Punta Mita, El Anclote, Sayulita, San Pancho and Nuevo Vallarta, among others. They also went shopping in Bucerías, visited the Farmers' Market in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, took cooking classes in Marina Riviera Nayarit, celebrated Children’s Day with kids from both destinations, interacted with hundreds of fans, and also toured Puerto Vallarta.

Together with the Cheerleaders were two legendary Dallas players, Bill Bates and Tony Casillas, as well as the production crew, Cowboys’ executives and the media, which has been following them and will certainly become ambassadors of this destination. They’ll speak highly of the good time they’ve had, and of how safe they’ve felt in Puerto Vallarta and in Riviera Nayarit," said Grupo Marival President Alfonso Rizzuto, before presenting the Cheerleader’s choreography.

The production crew from ABC’s Good Morning Texas was also in our region, with their popular presenter closely following the Cheerleaders’ activities. "It’s amazing what’s going on in Riviera Nayarit. The Cheerleaders are here, as well as great former players and we’re all having a great time," said the show's presenter, Amy Vanderoef, while interviewing Salvador Ramos from Grupo Marival.

The Cheerleaders will continue their swimsuit calendar photo sessions in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit through May 5th.
