Temperatures Will Rise in Vallarta August 18-20

Thirty-two of Mexico's most beautiful women will compete in the 2011 Miss Mexico Pageant semi-final and final competitions at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center on August 18th and 20th.

UPDATE: Tickets for the Miss Mexico 2011 semi-final competition, which is scheduled to begin at 7 pm on August 18th, can be purchased at the Tourism Board (Fidiecomiso de Turismo) near Canto del Sol in the Hotel Zone. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Temperatures are rising in the Banderas Bay region as Vallarta prepares for the 2011 Nuestra Belleza Mexico (Miss Mexico) Pageant semi-final and final competitions, which will be held at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center on August 18th and 20th.

Thirty-two of Mexico's most beautiful women, the pageant winners from the country's 31 states and Federal District, convened in Mexico City on July 22nd in preparation for the next round of eliminations, which will take place on August 3rd in Guadalajara.

The Semi-Finals will be held on August 18th in Puerto Vallarta, where contestant will participate in a number of elimination rounds including the swimwear, evening gown and traditional costume competitions.

On August 20th, the National Finals will be broadcast live on national television from the Puerto Vallarta Convention Center, where the remaining 15 contestants will compete again in the runway swimsuit, formal gown and speech competitions.

One of them will be crowned "Miss Mexico" by Miss Universe 2010, Jalisco’s own Ximena Navarrete, and will go on to represent Mexico in the 2012 Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International pageants.
