In an interview, Fernando Hoyo said that in a month the Los Muertos pier structure will be put in place, and at that time the progress will be visible.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The company responsible for creating the underwater structure for the new pier at Playa Los Muertos reports significant progress over the last two months. Divers have been working on the structure, and the company reports that the new pier will be ready at the end of February, 2012.

Fernando Hoyo said in an interview that for about two months they have been working steadily on the support structure and there is much progress, though it is not visible as it is underwater. "....we have 80% of the foundation work completed," he stated. He also noted that in a month the pier structure will be put in place, and at that time the progress will be visible.

After the placement of the pre-fabricated structures, which are now in Guadalajara, the last phase of the project will be the pouring of concrete.
