April 30, 2012

Puerto Vallarta - VoteFromAbroad.Org, Democrats Abroad’s voter registration tool, has been refreshed, re-invigorated, and re-launched.

The new-look website is now optimized for mobile devices, making voter registration activities easier, more effective, and further-reaching than ever.

Democratic National Committee Chairperson, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is urging every US citizen living abroad (Republicans, too) to request a ballot at VoteFromAbroad.Org. She reminds all US citizens that the vote from abroad has made a big difference in razor-thin races and the absentee ballot gives citizens a voice in the direction their home country takes.

While all Democrat expats are welcome to vote in the Global Primary in person at one of the local polling places, many will find it faster and easier to request a ballot at vote2012(at)democratsabroad.org.

All they need to do is to type 'Global Primary Ballot Request' in the subject line and request the ballot in the body of the email. They must be sure to vote and return the ballot no later than May 6th.

Those voting in person can do so on Wednesday, May 2nd at the MailBoxes Ect. on Ignacio L Vallarta 130, Local 3 in Old Town or at Philo’s Bar and Music Club, Delfin 15, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. You must be there between 10 am-4 pm and have identification with you.
