Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Electronic media shortens distances and make great work tools, as was proven by the recent Webinar the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust hosted for 42 travel agents from all over the United States via the CruisePlanners.com website.

On August 14, these agents were able to enhance their travel sales strategies by taking part in a 60 minute Webinar, entitled "Puerto Vallarta: the security to enjoy a beach and mountain destination," in which they received answers to questions such as: What is there to do in Puerto Vallarta? What is new in the Banderas Bay area? and Why choose Puerto Vallarta over other Mexico vacation destinations?

Among the marketing strategies that were used to reinforce the promotional Webinar were newsletters containing Puerto Vallarta news and information that were emailed to the more than 1100 travel agents registered to Cruise Planners, and an exclusive intranet page dedicated to Puerto Vallarta on the Cruise Planners portal.

Thanks to the success of the first Webinar, and to the excellent relationship the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust has with the Mexico Counsel of Tourism, a second Puerto Vallarta Webinar is scheduled to take place on September 4, 2012 at 2 pm EST - this time through TravelWeekly.com.

The upcoming Travel Weekly Webinar offers registered agents a virtual immersion in all that is new and exciting in Puerto Vallarta. This session will share destination highlights, what's new, the travel partner resources available to travel agents, and the destinations key markets, including Eco Adventure, Romance and Family Travel.
