Hospital Amerimed Breast Cancer Awareness Open House

October 25, 2012

Hospital Amerimed invites the general public to attend an Open House for Breast Cancer Awareness between 10 am and 4 pm on Friday, October 26, 2012.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Hospital Amerimed ends the month of Breast Cancer Awareness with an Open House on Friday, October 26, 2012. Stop by anytime between 10 am and 4 pm and enjoy some pink lemonade and a pink cupcake! Puerto Vallarta is extremely lucky to have Dra. Claudia Moral, a completely bi-lingual, female radiologist who specializes in breast diseases/breast cancer.

On Friday, meet Dra. Claudia and the exceptionally trained mammogram technicians. Tour the Radiology Department and learn how the digitalized mammogram machine works as well as breast ultrasound equipment. Remember! Men can get breast cancer as well!

Amerimed has been in the forefront of breast cancer awareness the entire month of October with the super-sized pink ribbon that hangs over the entire front of the hospital. As well, they participated in the Breast Cancer Awareness Cocktail benefit hosted by the Hotel Marriott for Esperanza y Alegria (A local breast cancer support group.) They also "pinned" pink ribbons on over 100 attendees of the recent "Kick Off the High Season" Breakfast held at the River Café in conjunction with HealthCare Resources.

The new Hospital Amerimed is located on Francisco Ascencio Medina Blvd in Puerto Vallarta's Hotel Zone, across the street from Plaza Marina. Valet Parking is available.
