ClubHotel Riu Jalisco to Close for $12M Renovations

August 8, 2013

RIU will invest 12 million dollars into a complete renovation of its ClubHotel Riu Jalisco facilities in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, using the new décor style they're rolling out in all of their new projects.

Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico - RIU Hotels & Resorts has announced the renovation of the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco, work that is planned to start on August 24, 2013.

This resort, located in Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, was the hotel chain's first property on the Pacific Coast of Mexico and, since 2002, has been a favorite for families, attracting thousands of tourists from all over the world.

RIU will invest 12 million dollars into a complete renovation of its facilities with the new décor style which RIU is rolling out in all its new projects. The ClubHotel Riu Jalisco enjoys a seafront location on Playa Flamingos Beach next to the Riu Vallarta and nearby the luxurious Riu Palace Pacifico.

The 700 rooms will be fully renovated with new furniture and new services including a flat-screen television and electronic safe. The family junior suites will include a bathroom with separate bath and shower, double sink and a second bedroom.

Following the renovation, RIU's 24-hour All Inclusive Service will offer a wide range of dining options including the "Don Emiliano" restaurant, with a buffet serving international cuisine and show cooking stations, whilst dinner guests can choose from the following restaurants: the Mexican "Doña Adelita," the Asian "Gran Dragon," the grill-steak house "La Botana," and the Italian "La Piazza." What's more, with its 5 renovated bars and the Pacha nightclub situated within the hotel itself, entertainment is guaranteed by day and by night.

Once open, the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco will include two pools with built-in jacuzzis, a sun terrace, a steam bath, a gym and a Renova Spa wellness center, with a selection of treatments and massages. The range of water sports will be managed by Scuba Caribe, whilst entertainment for the little ones will be taken care of by the RiuLand Club entertainment team.
