2014 Medical Matters Conference Set for February 10th

This will be our fifth year doing Medical Matters – it just seems to get bigger and better each year! This is a NO CHARGE event, held at the Hotel Marriott, from 9 am until 5 pm so plan on spending the day, have lunch (great discounts offered at the Marriott Restaurants) as we proudly present 50+ exhibitors covering every imaginable health-care related service in the area. As well, ongoing speakers on a wide variety of topics. Watch for lots of publicity on this event that is sponsored by HealthCare Resources, the US Consular Agent and the Hotel Marriott. If you would like to receive the speaker’s schedule, that will be ready soon – just send me an email. There are always a lot of fun give-aways as well!

Other Stuff

We’re now full swing into the "high season" which means a whirl of social activities. No one will break your arm if you don’t attend every single event, cocktail party or fundraiser. Pick and choose and do what you WANT to do. It’s this time of year I receive numerous emails from nice people who are "stressed" by all of the activities they have been attending. It is so important to take care of yourself by eating well, getting enough sleep, cut back on the alcohol and just ENJOY life here in Puerto Vallarta!

We are here to assist you in any and all of your healthcare needs! From choosing insurance to taking care of that sore throat, just let us know. Email is always best unless it is an emergency. If you’d like to sit down and have a one-on-one chat about healthcare services in the area, I am happy to do that as well!

Regional Hospital is the state-run hospital, for the poorest of the poor. We are in continual need of receiving blankets, newborn "onsies," small soaps, shampoos (like from the hotels). As well, craft supplies are much needed by New Life Mexico. We are happy to make arrangements for pick up of your donations.

Here’s to a super January as we kick off the New Year! Have fun! Be healthy and happy!
