Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Christmas holidays are always an exciting time to visit Puerto Vallarta, but this year will be exceptionally entertaining as the city will play host to the 2014 International Fireworks Festival from December 25th through 31st.

At long last, the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government has released the official schedule of events planned for the 2014 International Fireworks Festival celebrations, which include displays by members of the pyrotechnic industry from five Mexican States: Jalisco, Puebla, Zacatecas, Sonora and Mexico State; and from guest country France.

During the 6-night cultural, artistic and touristic event, a variety of musical and theatrical performances will be held in various locations throughout the city, including Hidalgo Park and the Municipal Stadium, where concerts featuring famous Mexican entertainers will be held between 6 and 10 pm most every night.

With the main events and most of the pyrotechnic displays taking place at the Municipal Stadium, it will be the most central location to enjoy all the festivities. But, if you want to avoid the larger crowds, you should be able to see most all of the fireworks displays from the Malecón.
