Under the guidance of Mayor Ramón Guerrero Martínez, the Casa Digna program, which provides families with the material to rebuild or start constructing the home they deserve, has benefitted 849 families in PV.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Under the guidance of Mayor Ramón Guerrero Martínez, the Casa Digna program has thus far benefitted 849 Puerto Vallarta families, who will have now have the opportunity to change their life stories due to having a better place to live.

Guerrero Martínez said that constructing "a new home allows Vallarta families to build a new history." And, through the various social welfare programs being promoted by the municipal government, this administration is making history by helping those less fortunate to forge a heritage for their descendants.

The program is now assisting families living in colonias Pitillal Centro, Bobadilla, Leandro Valle, Villas Río, Jardines de la Higuera, Fraccionamiento La Primavera de Vallarta, El Calvario, Fraccionamiento Prados de la Higuera, Los Portales, Jardines del Puerto, Villas del Mar, Villas del Sol, Villas del Puerto, Arboledas, Agua Zarca, Rancho Alegre, San Estaban, Villa de Guadalupe, Paseos de la Rivera, El Mangal, Playa Grande, La Payita and Del Toro.

"We know that this support alone is not enough, that's why the agreement we make is so important, we provide the materials and you do the work, and year after year we are building your heritage, we help you build a home, which you are going to leave to your children. Our commitment is to help the less fortunate by bringing the resources of the delegations and agencies to the neighborhoods and outlying communities of the municipality," reiterated the Mayor.

Meanwhile the Director of Social Development, Christian Salcedo, recalled that the commitment of the municipal government "is to reach every last colonia in the municipality, to support families who need the material to fortify, rebuild or start constructing the home they deserve. This government really gives Vallartenses the support and quality of life they have always deserved."

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Ramona Leyva thanked the Mayor for the work he has done on behalf of Vallartenses, "you're going to make history in Puerto Vallarta because no municipal president has given us what you have given us... we thank you very much for your support."
