"Children and the general public may participate in the different courses we'll be teaching, where they can acquire new knowledge on various issues and enter them to cultural and sports activities," said DIF president, Iris Ulloa Godínez.

For a full month children, teens and adults can learn skills in Hawaiian dance, folk dancing, karate, piñata and cake making, English, textile painting, weaving, jewelry, tailoring, hair cutting, embroidery and crafts in ribbon.

These courses will be held from July 13 to August 14, with two schedules: from 9 am to 11 am, and from 11 am to 1 pm. The cost is 300 pesos per child or 500 pesos for two siblings.

For more information, please go to the Training and Community Development facilities, located on the corner of Ecuador and 21 de Marzo in Colonia Coapinole, or call (322) 299-6434.
