#CinemaCUC Present La Mala Educación this Friday

As part of the CinemaCUC movie series, Centro Universitario de la Costa will present a free matinee showing of La Mala Educación, a 2004 Spanish drama film written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, on Friday, September 11 at 1:00 pm in the Juan Luis Cifuentes auditorium. Starring Gael García Bernal, Fele Martínez, Daniel Giménez Cacho and Lluís Homar, the film focuses on two reunited childhood friends, Ignacio and Enrique, who discover love, cinema and fear in a religious school in the 1960s. Father Manolo (Gimenez Cacho), the school's director and literature professor, is witness to and part of these discoveries. The three reunite in the early 80s, and this reunion will mark their lives. Ignacio, now called Angel (Garcia Bernal) is a transvestite who aspires to be an actor. For his part, Enrique (Fele Martinez) has become a famous film director. Together they will remember the dark years spent in school. #CinemaCUC invites everyone to join them in the Juan Luis Cifuentes auditorium at one o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, September 11th. Entrance is completely free, so gather up your friends and come enjoy a thought-provoking afternoon at the movies.
