2015 Mexico Health & Wellness Travel Show in Vallarta

December 7, 2015

In Mexico patients can receive medical and wellness treatments, including dental and cosmetic surgery, at a lower price but with the same or better quality than they would find in their home country.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - Every year, thousands of travelers from all over the world visit Puerto Vallarta for medical treatments and surgery. The infrastructure, doctors, competitive prices, quality of service and all the extras that this city has to offer to make patient recovery easier makes Puerto Vallarta the perfect medical tourism destination.

Puerto Vallarta is, without a doubt, an excellent option not just as an ideal place for vacation, but also to take care of one's health. It is a perfect location for Medical Tourism conferences, as it stands out in several ways and can be shown internationally to be a world class destination.

The destination will further cement its status as a Medical and Wellness destination as it hosts the Mexico Health & Wellness Travel Show from December 7th to 9th, 2015. With 300 participants and over 3,000 B-2-B meetings, it is one of the largest international medical tourism conferences.

Scheduled to take place at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center, the show will bring the best national and international experts to share their vision on global trends in the medical tourism industry and discuss new ideas, treatments and procedures in an interactive environment that fosters innovative management, marketing and sustainability solutions.

Twenty world-class speakers will deliver the same number of innovative issues of medical tourism and wellness. Representatives of 300 business and health tourism public and private sectors are expected from six countries: the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina and, of course, Mexico.

At a press conference earlier this year, the President of the Congress of Medical Tourism, Carlos Arceo Real, explained that the congress includes participating hospitals, dental clinics, medical specialty, hotels, travel agencies, and tourist destinations that will provide preset appointments to meet with finance companies in medical treatments, insurers, brokers, travel agencies and corporate HR Companies from the US, Canada and Mexico with the intention to negotiate and sign trade agreements.

Participants will also have a chance to talk and interact with physicians and CEOs of prestigious international firms and medical facilities, as well as the movers and shakers of the medical tourism industry.

Real stressed that this conference is a strategic and innovative way of positioning Puerto Vallarta as a world class health tourism destination. Medical tourism can be a real boost to the local economy, and Puerto Vallarta restaurants, rental agencies, tour companies and hotels will all benefit from the 2015 Global Medical Tourism Summit being held here this week, he said.
