At a press conference earlier this year, the President of the Congress of Medical Tourism, Carlos Arceo Real, explained that the congress includes participating hospitals, dental clinics, medical specialty, hotels, travel agencies, and tourist destinations that will provide preset appointments to meet with finance companies in medical treatments, insurers, brokers, travel agencies and corporate HR Companies from the US, Canada and Mexico with the intention to negotiate and sign trade agreements.

Participants will also have a chance to talk and interact with physicians and CEOs of prestigious international firms and medical facilities, as well as the movers and shakers of the medical tourism industry.

Real stressed that this conference is a strategic and innovative way of positioning Puerto Vallarta as a world class health tourism destination.
