Fewer than 6 percent of the nearly 28,000 AAA approved properties achieve this prestigious distinction.

Puerto Vallarta boosts over 22,000 hotel rooms, with more than half of them in 4 and 5 diamond properties. Grand Fiesta Americana becomes the destination's 15th AAA Four Diamond property, second in Mexico only to Cancun.
