Celebrate the Day of the Dead at 'Tu Casa en Vallarta'

October 31, 2016

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - La Zona Romantica's favorite Mexican contemporary restaurant, No Way José! Restaurant/Bar, invites you to celebrate El Día de Los Muertos at Tu Casa en Vallarta, on Wednesday, November 2 with a classic NWJ! fiesta at 7:30 pm.

Mexican families celebrate Day of the Dead as an event to remember loved ones whose spirits visit the earth once a year. Although some may view the celebration of death as macabre, we assure you it is not. The Day of the Dead - El Día de Los Muertos - marks the time for the dead to return home and visit loved ones, feast on their favorite foods, and listen to their favorite music.

So there's no better place to celebrate this special occasion than surrounded by your Mexican Family at Tu Casa en Vallarta, where you'll enjoy a memorable Day of the Dead party that combines the delicious food of Mexico with traditional (live) music performed by Los Romanceros with special guest star, Alberto Mejia, who has just returned from his U.S. debut and, of course, our very own José Alfredo will sing a song or two!

In addition to the menu favorites of Chiles en Nogada, the only table-side prepared Caesar Salad in La Zona Romantica, signature Sexy Coffee towers, and Bananas Flambé a la NWJ!, the restaurant is offering a special three-course Día de Los Muertos Menu that includes:

• NWJ!'s Classic Tortilla Soup with Cornish Hen Julienne

• A Selection of Traditional Mexican Flavors that includes Taquitos de Papa, a Chihuahua Cheese stuffed Chile Relleno, Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Poblano, Steak Tampiqueña, and an exquisite Oaxacan Tamal wrapped in a banana leaf

• A Mexican Buñuelo bathed in Miel de Nanci a La Raicilla (Fried Donut with Honey and Raicilla sauce) served with Castilla Pumpkin Sorbet

...for just $450 Pesos!

And, of course, there will be the traditional NWJ! Catrina Contest, so come dressed in your best Catrina costume! The best Catrina will be chosen during the evening, and the winner will receive a gift certificate for a special Tasting Dinner for Two that includes 3-4 courses of delicious contemporary Mexican cuisine and a bottle of Mexican wine!

Come out and enjoy an evening of delicious food, creative drinks and fun with live musical entertainment, prizes, and lots of surprises, as No Way José! celebrates another year of helping their family of friends create the best Vallarta memories.

Open Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00-11:00 pm, No Way José! is located on the south side of downtown at 5 de Febrero 260, just over the Vallarta street bridge on your left heading south from the Malecón. Reservations are recommended and available by calling (322) 223-2853 or online at NoWayJoseMx.com.
