A December to Remember with More Shows Than Ever!

December 8, 2016

Act II STAGES is located in the Zona Romantica, on the corner of Insurgentes and Basilio Badillo, just a short stroll from the beach on the South side of Puerto Vallarta. For more info, call (322) 222-1512.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - This week's cooler temperatures remind us that the holidays are just around the corner, which means that it is time to celebrate! And there's no better place to put you in a festive mood than Act II, where a full line-up of music, theater and fun will make this a December to remember.

And in keeping with the holiday spirit, Act II is also giving everyone the opportunity to give to the less fortunate through their "A Christmas To Remember" program. Through December 20th boxes will be set up at the theater for donations of clothes, shoes, non-perishable goods, and everyday necessities (diapers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.) to benefit Children of the Dump and Cheryl's Shoebox. So when you come to the theater, please bring a gift of giving and put it in the appropriate box. With your help, we can make it "A Christmas to Remember" for many children in the greater Puerto Vallarta area.

OPENING NEXT WEEK AT ACT II STAGES:

Christine Deaver The Top Selling Show in 2015 Opens in The Red Room!

Opening Night Welcome Back Party
December 15 at 6:30 pm

"Hermosa Fabulosa!"
Starring Christine Deaver
December 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29 & 31 at 7:30 pm

If Puerto Vallarta had a yearly awards ceremony, Christine Deaver would win "Best Female Cabaret Show" and we would create a special award for her as "The Most Loved!" Rarely does a performer come along that captures the hearts of 100% of their audience, but Christine Deaver is the exception! As a trained singer, dancer, actress and natural comedienne, she possesses the very rarest combination of talents. She is sly, devious, clever and wildly funny, but then she glides into a strong heart-felt luscious ballad and shows us another side of her amazing capabilities.

As a child, Christine was one of those "annoying kids" who always knew what she wanted to do. She started performing as a child, and continued through school, college and grad school. She then went through the PATP (Professional Actor's Training Program) at the University of Washington, and moved to Los Angeles to start her professional career. A director that had directed her in many projects in Los Angeles started directing at Teatro ZinZanni, Seattle's beloved dinner theater/comedic cabaret, invited her to become a part of their show. Thirteen years later, Christine is still there and continues to delight audiences with over 15 original, daring, sensual and funny characters!

We are so excited that Christine is returning to Puerto Vallarta and Act II this year! She is an outrageously talented woman with a fun, interesting and entertaining show to share with you... the ultimate show girl! Don't miss this amazing show!

The PVGMC chorus combines the talents of gay men from Mexico, the United States and Canada. They perform choral music that entertains, enlightens and unifies the audience, as well as its members, while building bridges of greater understanding, acceptance and love between communities, cultures, families, and friends. They are warmly embraced by the local Mexican and Ex-Pat community, as well as tourists of both cultures.

This time of year brings back recollection of some of the most memorable times spent with family and friends. Buy your ticket today and celebrate the most magical season of the year with the PVGMC! And you might want to brush up on some of your favorites so that you can sing along!

Renee sharing her life in music and stories of her time in the birthplace of modern rock and folk music. Laurel Canyon circa 60's & 70's was a magical place during turbulent times. "20th Century Crooners"
Every Sunday at 7:30 pm

"Canadian Idol" finalist Paul Fracassi grew up in an Italian household, listening to the crooners of the 20th century, such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and others from that era. "That was the first music I listened to, so that was the first music I was interested in singing," says Paul. The reviews are in. Puerto Vallarta has fallen in love with Paul Fracassi, once again!

Paul Fracassi you've made me swoon, again! You've made me happy to have been alive to remember those moments when I first heard those songs by the great Crooners. In your 3rd season here in PV, you've show how your voice has matured & your confidence increased. What I loved most was watching how you & Camilla openly shared your love for each other with us. Crooners is another DON'T MISS show at Act II Red Room. - Tricia Lyman

Paul Fracassi is back, and better than ever! Paul opened his new Crooner's show last evening at the Red Room and wowed the house for 90 minutes without even taking a break. In the three years of Red Room's existence (3 years tonight, actually) I have never witnessed such prolonged applause after EVERY song. The crowd loved him and it was obvious he loved what he was doing. - Jim Davies
