San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico - The Circo de los Niños de San Pancho, (San Pancho Children's Circus) a social and artistic program founded by the co-creator of Cirque du Soleil, Mr. Gilles St. Croix, will present their new show from March 22nd through 25th at 7:30 pm in the Circo Bodega in San Francisco, Nayarit (aka San Pancho.)

About Circo de los Niños de San Pancho

Seven years ago, Gilles St. Croix and his wife Monique Voyer created a circus school for the children of the village of San Pancho. This non-profit organization supports the development of local children from 8 to 17 years old. Through circus arts and techniques, the children build confidence, focus, determination and physical capacities.

Each year, Circo de Los Ninos presents a show that demonstrates the powerful creative and collective outcome of this unique community project, and they are very excited by this year's production.

This year's performance is inspired by a classical play: Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The dream aspect seemed very appropriate with all those fairies living in a forest, and little characters playing tricks on each other. They have imagined those magical scenes as a celebration of friendship and love. More than 15 different technics of circus art will be presented by the 85 children that are part of this year's production.

There won't be any spoken words, or very few, instead evocation and pantomime will carry the story. Using colorful costumes, masks, make up, projections and lavish lighting, they will create a mysterious universe, where Oberon the Fairy King and his beautiful Queen Titania and their court will charm spectators of all ages.

There will be graceful acrobatic ensembles. Daring feats. And classical numbers that are part of Circo de los Niños' short history.

These benefit performances support the ongoing activities of Circo de los Niños, and the Dream Catcher Sponsors contribute annually to help Circo de los Niños de San Pancho sustain its programs and keeps fees accessible for the 150 families enrolled in the program.
