Avocados From Mexico partnered with Tastemade on the short feature film, which shows how avocados travel from where they're grown in Michoacan all the way to the consumer, according to the news release.

Michoacan, Mexico - Avocados From Mexico is putting on a show of its own at its booth at the Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit convention and expo that's set to be held October 19 through 21 in New Orleans.

In addition to talking to attendees about its latest programs and partnership opportunities, Avocados From Mexico will be debuting a short film, "Avocadoland," according to a news release. "We are excited to share our best practices, seasonal program lineup and unveil our Avocadoland film at PMA," Alvaro Luque, president of Avocados From Mexico, said in the release.

Avocados From Mexico partnered with Tastemade on the film, which shows how avocados travel from where they're grown in Michoacan all the way to the consumer, according to the release.

The "Avocadoland Cinema" will be shown inside Avocados From Mexico's exhibit on the show floor at booth No. 1929. Avocados From Mexico's brand showcase area will feature its 2017-18 national seasonal initiatives and retail merchandising programs, including Holiday, the Big Game, March Madness and Cinco de Mayo time periods.

"As the category leader, our goal is to lead trade excellence by providing best-in-class tools for the shopper experience to drive consumption and retailer sales," said Maggie Bezart-Hall, vice president of trade and promotions for Avocados From Mexico, said in the release. "We're forecasting strong volume and have created robust marketing efforts to support the supply."

The group's exhibit will also feature an "Eat Lively" area, focusing on avocado-related health and wellness efforts, with Avocados From Mexico's registered dietitian and nutritionist Barbara Ruhs on hand to interact with other registered dietitians, according to the release.

The exhibit will also feature an area focused on younger consumers, with youth from Avocados From Mexico's "Mini Chefs" program putting on live food demos Friday and Saturday. Finally, Avocados From Mexico is bringing back its Avo-Matic experience, which captures booth visitors' facial cues as they sample avocado-related food samples and measures their happiness. The Avo-Matic takes pictures geared for sharing on social media with #AvoHappiness.
