'Movember' is All About Men's Health in Vallarta

November 11, 2017

When it comes to their health, too many men don't talk, don't take action, and die too young. Urge your husband, your son, your partner, your brother, your friend, to get a check-up and help spread the word.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - This month, we are celebrating Men's Health Month - "Movember" - by promoting the awareness of prostate and testicular cancer. Healthcare Resources, together with UroVallarta, have put together a full month of Speakers Programs, Clinics and Special Packages.

UroVallarta Open House • Monday, November 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm

Please join us at UroVallarta! This is the new state-of-the-art facility of our Urologists, Dr. Carlos Garcia, Dr. Habid Becerra and Dra. Cinthia Becerra. View the procedure rooms, ultrasound equipment, recovery rooms and everything to do with urological practices. Enjoy a glass of wine, some nosh and chat with the physicians. The staff of UroVallarta are the leaders in the area practicing cutting edge technology. They are a lot of fun too! We will have photo fun and give-aways! Address: Francisco Villa #1389. (A couple of blocks north of Costco, west side of the street. Far north end of the new Diagnostic-K building complex.)

We are very proud to present the following speakers programs for men - and the women who love them!

What's New in Prostate Cancer Treatment

Testicular Cancer
November 21 at 9:00 am
Vallarta Medical Center
Dr. Habid Becerra – Urologist

Testicular cancer is one of the least talked about cancers. It is rare. But testicular cancer is the most common cancer in males between the ages of 15 and 35. Testicular cancer is highly treatable, even when the cancer has spread beyond the testicle. Learn about the signs, symptoms and treatment. RSVP as space is limited. No charge.

"Andropause"
November 27 at 9:00 am
Hospital San Javier
Dra. Cinthia Becerra – Urologist

"Andropause" is a condition that is associated with the decrease in the male hormone testosterone. It is unlike menopause in that the decrease in testosterone and the development of symptoms is more gradual than what occurs in women. Dra. Cinthia's specialty is bio-identical hormones. She has literally changed the lives of hundreds and hundreds of men in the area by properly prescribing and monitoring them using the hormones.
