Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico - The fourth annual "Patrón Perfectionists Cocktail Competition" launched globally on May 22, 2018. Inspired by the perfectionists who craft each bottle of Patrón, the Global Cocktail Competition brings together mixologists who demonstrate a continuous pursuit of perfection behind the bar.
The competition will run through January 2019 when the 2018 Patrón Perfectionist will be crowned at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico. Entrants from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the U.K., Brazil, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, the UAE, South Africa, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea &and Japan will "mix it up" in hopes of being crowned their national Patrón Perfectionist.

HOW TO ENTER:
Step 1: Create a cocktail inspired by your country.
Step 2: Enter your info and recipe online by October 1, 2018.
Step 3: Sit back and relax while recipes are reviewed.
Six bartenders will be selected to compete in each region's national competition. Regional competitions will take place from September through December 2018 in each of the 20 participating countries to select their national winner. The Mexico competition cities and dates are: Guadalajara on November 7 and Mexico City on November 14, 2018.
The bartender with the winning cocktail from each national competition will be named their country's Patrón Perfectionist and will compete in The Global Final at Hacienda Patrón in January 2019.
At the Global Finals, contestants will be judged on how well they craft a Patrón cocktail that embodies their home country and measured against the following categories: appearance, originality, service/hosting and flavor.
Judges will also look for select values to be brought to life through the bartenders' cocktail creations and presentations, including a respect for craftsmanship, attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to perfection.Only bartenders with the best flavors, skills and mixologies will prevail.
