Puerto Vallarta has been nominated in four categories of Food & Travel Mexico Magazine's 2018 Reader Awards, an annual survey that recognizes the best in national tourism, including destinations, hotels, airlines, travel agencies, restaurants, spas, and cruises.

The categories for which Puerto Vallarta has been nominated are: Best Destination, Best Gourmet Destination, Best Spa and Best Beach Boutique Hotel.

"Being included on the list of nominees for the Best Destinations in Mexico is an honor for Puerto Vallarta, which in just a few years has consolidated its tourism offer with new hotels that offer excellent amenities, as well as high quality tourism services, in addition to its natural attractions, the security offered to its visitors, and the renowned hospitality of its people," said Javier Aranda Pedrero, the director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust.

Casa Velas, a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World, is an adults-only, all-inclusive boutique hotel featuring 80 suites, some with private pools and Jacuzzis, is being considered for the designation of 'Mexico's Best Beach Boutique Hotel.'
