Our annual Dia de Los Muertos Fiesta is easily our favorite fiesta of the year. Please join us as we honor the memories of departed loved ones on Friday, November 2, from 7-11 pm.

This year, the evening will benefit our good friends at S.E.T.A.C. and the wonderful work they are doing in the community. S.E.T.A.C. is a local community and wellness center whose mission is to reduce HIV and other sexually transmitted infections in Puerto Vallarta and the greater Banderas Bay region, through education, detection and prevention. Free testing, counseling, medical referrals and education are just some of the services SETAC provides free of charge whenever possible, and the center exists solely on donations and grants - so come out and have fun while supporting this worthy cause.

Mexican families celebrate Day of the Dead to remember loved ones whose spirits visit the earth once a year. Although some may view the celebration of death as macabre, we assure you it is not. The Day of the Dead - El Día de Los Muertos - marks the time for the dead to return home and visit loved ones, feast on their favorite foods, and listen to their favorite music.

So there's no better place to celebrate this special occasion than surrounded by your Mexican family at Tu Casa en Vallarta, where you'll enjoy a memorable evening that combines the delicious food of Mexico with music performed by the new Piel Canela and, of course, there will be the traditional NWJ! Catrina Contest, so come dressed in your best Catrina costume!

As always, No Way José! will display a traditional Day of the Dead altar where photo memories, notes, favorite food and drink will be presented in memory of the loved ones no longer with us.
