$10,500 USD Donated to Vallarta Civil Protection Dept.

The Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club's $10,500 dollar donation will be used to purchase kitchen equipment for Vallarta's fire station, and the management of funds will be administered by the Marina Rotary Club.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - On Sunday, January 13, personnel of the Subdirección de Protección Civil y Bomberos (Civil Protection and Fire Department), headed by Adrián Bobadilla García, received an important donation from members of the Marina Vallarta Rotary Club.

In a simple ceremony held at the fire station, which was attended by the General Secretary of the City Council, Víctor Bernal Vargas, and the titular councilor of the Civil Protection, Risk Management and Fire Commission, Alicia Briones Mercado, Marina Rotary Club members Gabriela Cabrera Morales and Rocío Nava presented Bobadilla García with a check for $10,500 US dollars.

The donation was made by Mr. Bret Russell of the Russell Foundation who gave the Rotary Club Marina Vallarta a check for the aforementioned amount through the Parker Foundation Account of the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club.

Adrián Bobadilla García explained that the $10,500 dollars would be used to purchase kitchen equipment for the main fire station, and the management of said resources will be administered by the Marina Rotary Club.
