Route 66
"...the best nightclub in Puerto Vallarta"

If music is your passion, this popular club, located about two blocks south of the Rio Cuale Bridge, is the place for you. If you ask any cool, hip local what's the best nightclub in Puerto Vallarta, they'll tell you Route 66. Formerly known as Club Roxy, this hot spot may not look like much from the outside, but the inside its cool, dark and filled with some of the best music and hottest people found anywhere north or south of the border.

The house band is fabulous, playing popular and obscure blues, rock, samba, salsa, reggae, and jazz tunes worthy of at least a few spins on the dance floor. When famous musician come to town, chances are they will be at Route 66, listening to the band or possibly stepping up on stage to join in. The beer is cold, the music's hot, and powerful jam sessions after 10 pm on weekday evenings give you the chance to see the coolest new bands in PV. No cover charge. Open from 6pm to 2am daily. Credit cards accepted.

RECOMMEND PROBLEM QUESTION
Club Roxy se el mejor bar en Pto. Vallarta.
Luisa
This is the best bar in Puerto Vallarta with the best band. Pico and Rodrigo rock the house.
Janice
What do you get when you take 25 Canadian, American, English, French, Kiwi, and Aussie girls out on a bachelorette night... If those ladies wind up at Route 66, someone is going to end up on stage at the end of the night performing acrobatic splits while the house band rallies the crowd with their raunchy version of "Honky Tonk Woman." Needless to say, the energy of Route 66’s live performances, their potent margaritas, and the abundance of space they provide to cut a rug could well have been an inspiration for an impromptu leap into Puerto Vallarta stardom.

Good rock music with a mix of reggae. Plenty of room to dance. Just a fun local bar to hang out, listen to music, and get away from the tourist scene.
