Children's Fishing Tournaments in the Riviera Nayarit

Two fun, friendly & free fishing competitions for kids are taking place in the Riviera Nayarit this weekend - the 2nd Annual Children's Fishing Tournament at La Cruz Marina on Saturday, April 30th, and the 2nd Annual Children's Surf Fishing Tournament in San Blas on Sunday, May 1st.

Puerto Vallarta Mayor Arturo Peña Dávalos joined more than 70 cyclists for the first few kilometers of last weekend's 'Puerto Vallarta-San Sebastian del Oeste Challenge,' a 70 kilometer bike ride from the coast to a mountain village located 1,480 meters above sea level.

To kick off their 'Plastic Free Oceans' campaign, Entreamigos and the San Pancho Bird Observatory invite swimmers, paddle boarders and kayakers to compete in a 3km swim across the ocean. The event will take place April 14 from 7-11 am on the beach at Rincón de Guayabitos.

The Riviera Nayarit will host the fourth edition of the Mexican Beach Volleyball Tour from January 22-24, with the top 32 Men's and Women's doubles teams in the country seeking volleyball glory at the beach in Rincón de Guayabitos. The games begin at 8:30 am local time. Admission is free.
