Dealing with American and International lenders has never been easier. Let Alexander, Barrett & Company (ABC) show you how. Alexander, Barrett & Company has increased your lending products with programs that allow for LOW down payments (some as low as 10%), low closing costs, and quick closings.

The principals of ABC have over 14 years of experience in the lending arena. Along with a banking firm in the United States (Windsor Capital Mortgage), there is a local branch here in Puerto Vallarta and a branch in Sayulita, Nayarit. We are an international firm that has projects in multiple countries, and your local, international lending source.

Our products support purchases, refinances, acquisition & development, construction, raw land, hard money and much more. With the low down payments and extended amortization periods you can use you finances more effectively.

Instead of one project spread your finances to cover multiple projects with less outgo. We specialize in creating programs for individual clients. Let us share our experience in lending and help you keep more money in your pocket!

Dear BanderasNews: You ran an article in September 2005 promoting Alexander Barrett and Company as a reliable mortgage lender. Clearly our circumstance suggests quite the opposite. Below is a copy of the letter we sent to the Arizona State Attorney, Colorado State Attorney and Department of Justice.

To Whom It May Concern:

We recently purchased a home in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. We needed a mortgage to finance our purchase. We contacted Charles Alexander, President and CEO of Alexander Barrett and Company, www.alexanderbarrettandcompany.com. They are a mortgage finance company which provides loans for home purchases in Mexico.

After meeting Charles we completed the documents required to receive our loan. He asked us for a commitment fee to cover the associated costs with closing the loan. We sent $3400 USD to meet these expenses. Our loan never came through nor did we hear from Charles.

In time we contacted Charles and he said our loan was moving along just fine, yet there were delays, and more delays. When it became obvious that Charles was unable to provide us with financing we asked for our commitment fee to be returned.

Again he was always experiencing delays as to why our fee could not be returned. He did say he would return the funds. At this point we are still waiting and now all of the contact phone numbers we have for Charles are turned off.

We were formerly able to contact him at (602) 392-5912 and (623) 261-0143, and his fax number was (270) 626-6538. Email addresses: info@alexanderbarrettandcompany.com and cabroker25@msn.com.

Last we heard from Charles he had relocated to Colorado. Since then we have heard from some of Charles' former associates that although he collected many commitment fees, he never actually did provide anyone with financing.

We respectfully request you to investigate this possible fraud and in the interim to freeze his bank account so no other persons can fall victim to his business practices. He banks at Bank of America, 5001 E. Washington St., Phoenix AZ, 85034.

Sincerely,
Tim Amos & Brooke Montgomery, San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico
