The USCG Cutter Chase arrives 1 December
The Navy League of Puerto Vallarta is a non-profit organization whose main activity is to arrange for gifts of medical and educational supplies to be brought to Puerto Vallarta via the US Navy and Coast Guard services.

Working in conjunction with the Mexican Armada to support various activities and events for the benefit of Vallarta’s less privileged children through programs such as the now famous "Toys for Tots," the PVNL leads the way in building productive relationships within our community.

In addition, the Puerto Vallarta chapter of the Navy League offers a warm welcome, valuable information and discounts to crew members of the ships that visit the Bay of Banderas, in order to make they stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

Membership in the Puerto Vallarta Navy League requires that members be existing paid-up members of the United States Navy League. Maintaining USNL membership is the responsibility of the individual and can be dealt with directly by regular mail, email or by visiting the USNL website at www.navy league.org. Just follow the links to the "Membership" section, and follow the directions to obtain the necessary information.

Local PVNL annual dues are $20 USD or $200 pesos, and are payable in cash only at the regular monthly meetings, which are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Marriott Hotel. Membership fees are for the calendar year - irrespective of the date of expiration of your USNL membership. If it is difficult for you to attend meetings and you wish to make other arrangements for payment, please call Norm Yellowlees at 293-6595.

Many existing members did not receive their 2005-2006 membership cards. These cards will be available for pick-up at the regular monthly meetings from Norm. New 2006-2007 cards will be issued after the current year's dues are received and processed.

Your Executive Committee is trying very hard to improve our membership communications. We are sure you will understand the need for accuracy of data in order to achieve this. Please be sure that we have your information correctly recorded in our records. If you require assistance in membership related matters, please call Norm at 293-6595 or send an email to nbyellow@pvnet.com.mx
