Last May, after seven successful years at their workshop in the Marina, Mariano Pérez and Esthela Herrera of Glass Galeria EM opened a new glass gallery and workshop where tourists and residents can not only discover the beauty of glass art, but also learn how glass can be transformed into art.

Located in front of the Marina Whale at Av. Fco. Medina Acencio #2758, Glass Galeria EM La Ballena, is one of the best glass galleries in all of Puerto Vallarta - and perhaps in all of Mexico.

This bright and airy showroom and workshop is the perfect place to display glass art in all its glory, so on Friday, December 1st from 6-10 pm, they will be hosting the grand opening of a new art exhibition called "An Homage to Pre-Colombian Cosmology Glass" by Alexander Grosman.

After more than 30 years of exhibiting his artistic creations in wood, sandstone, marble and bronze in important art centers around the world including Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Houston and Puerto Vallarta Mexico, Grosman has now has turned to glass to express his intense artistic creativity.

Be sure to stop by Glass Galeria EM La Ballena, where you can see this famous artist's most recent works, meet Puerto Vallarta Mayor Gustavo González Villaseñor, and enjoy complimentary cocktails on Friday December 1st from 6 to 10 pm.

For more information, stop by the gallery at Francisco Medina Ascencio No. 2758, call (322) 221-1728, or send an email to galeriaem@yahoo.com.mx.
