If you are looking for unique gifts for everyone on your Christmas list, don't miss the special Christmas Jewelry and Sculpture Show at Galeria Vallarta on December 13th from 6-10 pm, or shop online at GaleriaVallarta.com.
Puerto Vallarta - Since it's founding in 1989, Galería Vallarta has been ahead of the trend in presenting "art in all forms," and the gallery's annual Christmas jewelry and sculpture show offers savvy shoppers the chance to buy unique and original gifts for everyone on their Christmas list.

A favorite shopping spot for locals and tourists alike, Galería Vallarta is not only one of the most popular art galleries in Puerto Vallarta, but also offers posters, collectibles, a wide selection of indigenous handicrafts, bronze, wood and ceramic sculptures and one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces of gold and silver jewelry with natural stones such as opals, amethysts, lapis lazuli, turquoise and coral.

Want to win his/her heart? Dramatic and original jewelry is the perfect gift, as it sets the wearer apart as a person of artistic taste and affords a confidence that comes from knowing that no one else in the world will have that same creation.

This holiday season, Galeria Vallarta will be presenting a spectacular selection of jewelry creations by fifteen designers, both local and from various parts of Mexico, several of whom will be present for this week's Puerto Vallarta Art Walk on December 13th from 6-10 pm, including:

NDO Lozano is famous for his dramatic bronze jewelry, totally handcrafted, using a torch. Anyone who wears his creations receive continual complements on his unusual creations.

Alon Diller from Taxco presents sterling silver rings, bracelets and pendants with natural stones and pearls in unusual designs.

Jorgé Flores is known for his unique settings in gold and silver, with the metals entwining around the opals and other unique stones to enhance his creations.

Guillermo Arregui from Taxco has mastered the art of reticulation in sterling silver combined with turquoise and other natural stones.

Galleria Vallarta owner, Barbara Peters, will be presenting bead necklaces of amethyst, turquoise, lapiz lazuli and other stones in many unique designs, some with copper enamel or silver pendants, and usually with matching earrings.

Robin Manoogian also creates unusual bead necklaces, bracelets and earrings with special stones. Oscar Tavitas combines the art of macrame with agates, turquoise, onyx and coral for unisex jewelry that complements casual attire.

To insure the quality of the materials and designs, every piece of original jewelry on display at Galeria Vallarta is personally selected by Barbara Peters, who has a long career as a haute couture designer of formal wear and unique jewelry.

During this special Christmas edition of the famous Old Town Art Walk, Galeria Vallarta will also be showing Bronze sculptures by Noe, Alicia Bueno, Claudia Nery, Olivia Guzman, and Carlos Jahuferi, in addition to original carved wood statues by Fabian Preciado and Francisco Sandoval.

So why not get some unique and original gifts for everyone on your Christmas list? Everyone is invited to the cocktail showing on Wednesday, December 13th from 6 to 10 pm at Galeria Vallarta, just 1/2 block south of the main plaza and Cathedral in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta at Juarez 265.
