Eat, Drink and Be Merry! Get into the holiday spirit on Wednesday, December 6th, as Banana Cantina hosts a FUNdraiser to benefit the New Life Vallarta Street Boys Home featuring Chef Laurena Cordero Martini, who'll create an appetizer to delight and excite you.

Laurena Cordero Martini, the Executive Chef and overall Kitchen Queen at Eventful Moments, is one of the few people in Vallarta that is actually from Vallarta. Her bicultural background and training result in a fusion of ingredients and techniques that pays homage to tradition, as well as innovation.

After her training at Sitting Guilds London Institute of Culinary Arts, she opened Christchurch’s first Mexican style Taco Stand to rave reviews. After opening the food stand, her next venture was as Sous Chef at Terrace Downs High Country Resort, also in Christchurch, before heading back to her beloved Vallarta. After a stint at the Four Seasons, she joined the EM Vallarta team and has been bringing their culinary delights to a new level ever since.

On this special night, Martini will be preparing a special EM Vallarta Appetizer with all the proceeds going to the New Life Vallarta Street Boys Home. Banana Cantina owners, Mike and Debbi Egan, will also join in the fund raising efforts by donating 10% of your dinner bill to this worthy cause.

Located on the corner of Pulpito and Amapas, in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, Banana Cantina boasts a totally unique menu featuring creative Contemporary Mexican Cuisine and International dishes and an eclectic ambiance created by a colorful, yet comfortable, decor.
