Casa de Milagros Opens its Doors to Recovery
email this pageprint this pageemail usBob Cohen - PVNN

Getting to San Sebastian is easier than you think! Vallarta Adventures offers two ways to get to this tranquil town in the Sierra Madres: 15-minute charter flights and 90-minute trips by air-conditioned mini van. Click HERE for more info.
Puerto Vallarta - Casa de Milagros, a 30 day, 12-Step based medical drug and alcohol treatment program center will be opening its doors on April 15, 2007 in the beautiful and tranquil Sierra Madres in San Sebastian Del Oeste, Jalisco, just a 75 minute drive from Puerto Vallarta.

Since there are no proven and effective drug and alcohol programs offered in the Puerto Vallarta area, and the closest short term clinics are in Mazatlan and Mexico City, Casa de Milagros will offer an affordable 30 day treatment program for those who have fallen victim to the disease of addiction and require inpatient care.

For many drug and alcohol abusers a safe and secure environment is an essential tool for achieving long-term recovery. But as Puerto Vallarta and its surrounding communities continue to grow, so do the number of bars and night clubs, which may entice those seeking recovery to relapse.

That is precisely the reason that Casa de Milagros is located in the tranquil town of San Sebastian Del Oeste, where a peaceful and spiritual environment offers one the opportunity to get a solid foundation of recovery - far away from all of the big city temptations found in the Banderas Bay area.

The first such program to combat addiction in the Puerto Vallarta area, Casa de Milagros' objective is to stop the cycle of drug and substance abuse addiction for both English and Spanish speaking people that want to improve their lives.

The Casa de Milagros Treatment Center offers a complete medical detox and treatment program complete with a credentialed staff of medical doctors specializing in addiction, psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, two full-time counselors and a program director, as well as an office manager, staff and cook.

The whole staff is fully credentialed, with certification attained in the United States and in Mexico. And, since CDM's bilingual drug and alcohol treatment program costs just a fraction of the price of medical treatment in the US and Canada, many English speaking people are expected to become program participants.

With the increasing need for a drug and alcohol treatment program on a professional scale, not just in Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas, but also in the United States and around the globe, we are pleased to announce that Casa de Milagros will soon be a part of our community.

Casa de Milagros is scheduled to open in San Sebastián Del Oeste on April 15th, 2007. For more information, send an email to cdmtreatmentcenter@yahoo.com.mx.
