The annual R.I.S.E. for Hope Fundraiser is fast approaching - so mark your calendars now for Saturday, February 10th.

Scheduled to take place from 5-9 pm on the spacious, beautiful campus of the American School in Marina Vallarta, this year's benefit for the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza Children's Shelter promises to be one of the high season's most spectacular events.

More than thirty of Puerto Vallarta's finest restaurants will be serving their tasty food. Café de Artistes, Outback Steakhouse, Boca Bento, El Dorado, Trio, Daiquiri Dick's, River Café, Barcelona Tapas and more will be there, complete with chefs and delicious samples of their fare.

Additional restaurants will be bringing chips, salsa, guacamole and other treats for party goers, including beer, wine, soft drinks and hand-crafted delicacies from the new chocolate shop on the south side of Vallarta, Xocodiva.

Live music and entertainment will be featured throughout the evening, including the Xiutla Folklorian dancers, popular young singer Carlitos, Trio Madrigal, Thaipiano ballet, and the Refugio kids.

Many interesting and exciting finds will be available at the silent auction, such as gift certificates to restaurants and salons, jewelry and travel items.

There will also be a live auction with some fabulous vacation stays, golf package, catered dinner, artwork and more and a raffle will be held for 3 nights at Casa Karma for up to 12 people, dinner for 4 at El Arrayan and canopy tours.

The ticket price of $500 pesos each (adults only, please) includes all food, beverages and entertainment and a chance for one of the door prizes.
