From November 21st-30th, Sol y Luna Art Galleries owner and director Alejandro Baez will be hosting wine receptions for the opening of two art exhibitions - "Regalos del Mar" and "Flesh" - by one talented North American artist: Lorenzo Bruderer.
Lorenzo Bruderer is an extraordinary painter of figures and sea shells. Bruderer's inspiration for his contemporary male and female nudes is derived from classical figures. His larger-than-life depictions of physical intimacy provide the viewer with a sense of voyeurism. His work suggests an aura of romantic decadence.
Some paintings are merely evocative of the human decadent pleasures, while others are charged with unbridled passion! Bruderer's oil paintings celebrate the human experience and focus on the sensual aspects of love and romance.
The viewer will find the same sensuous qualities in his paintings of sea shells. His enchantment and fascination of his subject is evidenced in the shape, color and structure found in his paintings. To view his paintings is to enter and see an underwater world of great beauty and mystery and to fall under the spell of the ritualistic contemplation of shells - a special gift from the sea.
Lorenzo Bruderer's art exhibitions are curated by Alejandro Baez, owner and Director of Sol y Luna Art Galleries. The "Regalos del Mar" art exhibition will be held at Sol y Luna Fine Contemporary Art Gallery, Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez #155-A, with wine reception openings on November 21st and 28th that will also feature a unique Soprano Opera Singer to enhance your evening.
Wine receptions for "Flesh," an art exhibition of Sensual Male and Female nudes, will take place on November 23rd and 30th at Sol y Luna Art for the Uninhibited, Lazaro Cardenas #230 in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica.
