Galería Vértice Opens in Puerto Vallarta

Over the years, Puerto Vallarta has become a very important art center, with more galleries than any other Mexican coastal destination. Representing Mexico's finest artists, as well as artists from other countries who have chosen Puerto Vallarta as their home, the art displayed and produced here is as diverse as the artists who create it.
On Friday, November 16th, the Puerto Vallarta art community gathered together to celebrate the opening of PV's newest art gallery - Galería Vértice. Promoting works by internationally acclaimed Mexican artists, this sleek and suave art gallery adds a new dimension to the local art scene.
The champagne reception, which was attended by many local gallery owners and art lovers, provided guests with the opportunity to meet the owners of this well-appointed gallery, while viewing a wonderful exhibition of contemporary art.
For the opening reception, owners Alfredo Vital and Christopher Bottrill presented a collective exhibition by internationally acclaimed Mexican artists such as: Luis Vargas, Sergio Garvál, Tomás Pineda Matus, Victor Crowley, Juan Carlos Manjares, Marlinde von Rhus, Gustavo Aceves, Julián Diaz and Jaime José Roland Rojas. This collective exhibition will remain on display at Galería Vértice through December 12th.
A delicious array of canapés, live harp music by talented local musician D'Rachal and glasses of champagne added a touch of glitz and glitter, rounding out a successful opening event for this charming new art gallery.
