email this pageprint this pageemail usJohn K. Glaab - CIPS

Realtors and exhibitors from the United States, Canada, Latin America and overseas will gather together in Cancun, Mexico on June 19th and 20th, 2008 for the fourth annual edition of the Mercado Inmobiliario Turistico (MINT) Real Estate Trade Show.

TradEx, Mexico's largest producer of trade shows will combine forces with the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) and the National Association of Realtors to present the fourth annual edition of Mercado Inmobiliario Turistico.

MINT brings together Realtors and exhibitors from the United States, Canada, Latin America and overseas. At last year's event, attendees and trade show exhibitors came from twenty two Mexican states as well as from Canada, France, Spain, U.S.A., Costa Rica, Panama, Chile and Peru.

In addition to the Trade Show, there will be an educational component to the course. Classes will be delivered in both English and Spanish. Among those that will likely to be the most popular are, "Doing Business in Mexico" and "Doing Business in the United States." These have been designed to help agents who receive inquires and who need to work on co-operative transactions with International Realtors. Another course will be components of the Certified International Property Specialist certification program.

Last year, 1592 registered for the event and there were another 355 who attend. For those who are interested in an exhibit at this year's Trade Show, June 19 and 20, 2008 in Cancun Mexico, space is still available. Depending on the size of the booth, the cost runs from $2250 to $4500 USD. As in the case of any trade show, the best locations sell first.
