El Arrayán, Puerto Vallarta's favorite Mexican restaurant, serves-up authentic Mexican food made from fresh regional ingredients and has established itself as an award-winning, friendly and fun restaurant that offers mouth-watering dishes
Adding to the praise that El Arrayán has already received, including being named Vallarta's "Best Mexican Restaurant" by a landslide the past four years in a row to being named a "Must Do" by Frommer's Travel Guides, El Arrayán has recently been awarded the coveted AAA 3 Diamond Award

The process to receive a AAA rating is a long and difficult one. Restaurants fill-out an application for possible acceptance. Those restaurants that are accepted are visited secretly by reviewers during a one-year window. Restaurants that pass the strict criteria, including food, décor and service among 45 areas reviewed, receive the news of their acceptance by a personal phone call from AAA
