El Arrayán Cocina Tradicional
...named "Best Mexican Restaurant in Vallarta"

El Arrayán • 344 Allende • El Centro • Puerto Vallarta • Tel: (322) 222-7195
Email: Info@ElArrayan.com.mx • Visit the Website: ElArrayan.com.mxArea MapArea Map
Discover for yourself why El Arrayán was named the "Best Mexican Restaurant" in Puerto Vallarta for a record 5 straight years!

Forget about fajitas. Brush aside burritos and chimichangas. The search for authentic and award-winning Mexican food in Puerto Vallarta ends at an intimate and comfortable restaurant an easy stroll from the Malecón; El Arrayán.

In addition to being named “The Best Mexican Restaurant” in Banderas Bay, El Arrayán has been leading the Slow Food movement in the region for over two years, has been awarded the coveted AAA Three-Diamond Award, named a Fodor’s “Choice Restaurant”, was called a “truly memorable meal” by Lonely Planet, and a “must-do” by Frommer’s Guide.

El Arrayán is in downtown Puerto Vallarta at 344 Allende, just a short stroll from the Malecón.
The atmosphere is contemporary Mexican with accents reminiscent of times passed. The walls are colors traditionally used in haciendas of the La Sierra region in Jalisco: washed-down terracottas, brown, brilliant yellow and lively pink.

And the food is anything but boring - something to tickle everyone's taste buds! Plantain empanadas, shrimp pozole, baby scallop and avocado ceviche, their original crispy duck carnitas, a marinated goat cheese salad with smoked peppers or the cochinita pibil, a lean pork leg stew with achiote over a marinated banana leaf, the list goes on and on. From appetizers, soups, salads and desserts, each item is authentic Mexican. And don't get me started on the fabulous cocktail options and wine list!

El Arrayán is in downtown Puerto Vallarta at 344 Allende, just a short stroll from the Malecón. Open Wed-Mon from 5:30 to 11 pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Reservations at (322) 222-7195 or online at ElArrayan.com.mx.
