Connectiles Art Exhibition Opens June 26

Canadian artist Kevin Harney's first solo art exhibition, 'Connectiles - Todo esta Conectado,' opens at the Haus der Kunst puente del arte contemporáneo Proyectos gallery, located at Guerrero 339 in downtown Puerto Vallarta, on Friday, June 26 at 9 pm.
Haus der Kunst Proyectos is proud to present the first solo art exhibition by Kevin Harney, a Canadian artist living in Puerto Vallarta, who creates stunning abstract and Mandala digital prints on ceramic tiles.

Mexico has a long history and passion for colourful decorative tiles, and those here in PV who have had the opportunity to view Harney's tiles, which he calls "Connectiles," are amazed.

The "Connectiles" concept was inspired by Harney's quest to provide small, contemporary art pieces that could be collected and displayed in a variety of ways. The concept of printing on tiles was realized as he searched for an alternative decorative way to present his art. Small tiles within a deep frame can be exhibited on their own, in small or large patterns on a wall, vertically, horizontally or diagonally, to free standing on a table or shelf.

Harney's Connectiles "Todo esta Conectado" art exhibition opens at the Haus der Kunst puente del arte contemporáneo Proyectos gallery, located at Guerrero 339 in downtown Puerto Vallarta, on Friday, June 26 at 9 pm.

This is a very unique art show, not to be missed.Other art includes a large contemporary version of an "Ojo de Dios," printed on stainless steel. Nibbles and wine will be offered by Candela restaurant, know for it's famous stone oven baked thin crust pizza.
