The Season of Giving is Fast Approaching

If you are interested in donating items to help these children have a Merry Christmas, please email pamela(at)healthcareresourcespv.com for an item/suggestion from our wish list.
The street children shelter “Vida Nueva” here in Puerto Vallarta wants to be able to give the boys a Merry Christmas. The holiday season is one of the most difficult times for the children as it highlights that they are away from their families.

Throughout the year they are clothed in hand-me-downs that are donated by the public. At Christmas time we would like to be able to give them a new outfit of clothes, tennis shoes and some school shoes. Living in care does not really enable them to have many personal items.

Their lives are dictated by what is provided for them. We would like the children to receive a small stocking with some small, fun items and a gift that is meaningful to the individual. In this economic climate, we very much need your help to achieve this.

I have a full "wish list" of items, to fit every budget, that are needed to complete our goal. If you are interested in donating items to help the children have a merry and festive Christmas – please email me at pamela(at)healthcareresourcespv.com indicating your budget and I can send you an item/suggestion from our list. It is only with the generosity of others that Christmas can be made a better time of year for these extremely special children.

The holidays may seem a long way off, but in order to have everything in place by mid-December, we must begin now in order to have this project completed before Christmas. Since many of you are in the US or Canada at this time, and many of the items needed are much less expensive there, I am thinking this would be the perfect time to purchase your donation. With all of us pulling together, it will be possible to give the boys a holiday that every child deserves!

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!
