Learn about the Slow Food movement in Banderas Bay at a special food and wine event on November 16th at El Arrayán. For reservations, call Carmen at (322) 222-7195.
Reserve Monday, November 16th for a very special evening of food and wine to support small producers in the area and the Slow Food movement in Banderas Bay. Sommelier Daniel Mendez of Mi Cava wine distributors will be guiding the evening explaining his pairings of each wine with a fabulous five-course meal created by El Arrayán’s Chef Mariano Valdés featuring fresh regional produce.

With over 83,000 members world-wide, "Slow Food" connects pleasure and food with awareness and responsibility. They seek to defend biodiversity in our food supply, spread the education of taste, and link producers of excellent foods to consumers through events and initiatives. Hosting this special activity will be just one of the many initiatives to come from the local Slow Food convivium.

The local community is invited to enjoy this Slow Food pairing of food and wine while listening to live music featuring Los Frijoleros. The cost for the 5-course menu is $850 Pesos per person to the general public and $760 to any Slow Food members, this includes entertainment, food, wine and gratuity. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for seating and a cash bar will be available. The event will begin promptly at 8:00 pm. A portion of the profits will be donated to the local Slow Food convivium for local projects.

The public is also invited to join the local Slow Food group, “Slow Food Bahía de Banderas” online at SlowFood.com. Membership includes a one year membership, the Slow Magazine, electronic newsletter and discounts on activities for the local convivium.

Come discover “Slow Food Bahia de Banderas”. El Arrayán is downtown at 344 Allende, a short stroll from the Malecon. Open Wed-Mon 5:30 pm to 11 pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Reservations and payment in advance are required for this special event. Secure your seats today by calling Carmen at (322) 222-7195 from 6 am to 11 pm.
