Changing Lives while Having a Ball, Becas Style
Mark Thursday, March 11, 2010 on your calendars for 'The' social event of the year, the Becas Ball on the Patio of the Club Regina, Marina Vallarta. This is Becas Vallarta, A.C.’s (America-Mexico Foundation, Inc.) major fund raising event to support our 300 bright young students with unlimited potential, but very limited resources.

While you are helping change those young lives through education you will be feted with a complimentary cocktail hour with music by the popular group, Los Bambinos, a sumptuous sit down dinner with wine and incredible music to dance to in this beautiful venue on the shore of Banderas Bay.

Once again each guest will be presented with the innovative Becas Gift Bags sponsored by Liverpool and filled with items donated by local businesses. There will be fabulous trips and art to bid for in the Silent Auction, surprise door prizes and conviviality unmatched in any other event.

Tickets will be the same low price as last year, $850 pesos. Tables of 10 or individual tickets can be reserved now by calling me at (322) 223-1371 or 044-322-182-0215 or emailing me at phvicars(at)gmail.com or by calling any member of Becas Vallarta.

Remember, "He (or she) who hesitates will miss the Becas Ball!"
Polly G. Vicars and her husband of almost 60 years, Hubert (a.k.a. "Husband") retired to Puerto Vallarta in 1988 and soon became active members of several charitable organizations. Polly is the author of "Tales of Retirement in Paradise: Life in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico" [a sell-out!] and "More Tales of Retirement in Puerto Vallarta and Around the World." Proceeds from the sale of her books go to the America-Mexico Foundation, a scholarship foundation that is their passion.
