Mexico Real Estate: World Tourism Fair Points to Healthy Industry

Mexico’s strong presence at Berlin’s World Tourism Fair reflects its status as one of the most important international sites for tourism and points to the strength of the Mexico Real Estate industry.

Mexico Real Estate, along with the closely related tourism sector, is currently showing healthy growth; one indication of this is the strong presence of Mexico’s Pavillion at Berlin’s Tourism Fair, which will take place from the 9th to the 13th of March, 2011.

Mexico's participation shows how Europeans have an increased interest in Mexico’s destinations. Moreover, charter agencies have kept daily flights from Germany, reinforcing cultural bonds between this country and Mexico and making investments such as Playa del Carmen Real Estate and Yucatan Real Estate excellent ideas.

José Ramírez, director of Germany’s Office at the Mexican Council of Tourism Promotion, considered 2009’s tourism decrease during the international economic crisis as “moderate” compared to other countries. This is an important point for real estate investors, as the two industries are closely interdependent.

Ramírez affirmed that the number of tourists visiting the country will increase with the presence Mexico’s Pavillion, and the European style of destinations such as Playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen also provides the advantage of being close to some of the most important Mayan attractions in the Yucatan area like Tulum and Chichen Itza; these factors likewise provide benefits for foreigners considering Playa del Carmen Real Estate.

The forthcoming projects of the Mexican Council of Tourism Promotion (also in charge of countries like Austria, Switzerland and Poland) show particular interest in Mexican destinations such as Oaxaca, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Baja California Sur and the aforementioned Tulum and Playa del Carmen.

These destinations are internationally distinguished for their presence in Germany and other European countries. And what Mexico offers, which includes health and wellness tourism, makes Mexico Real Estate investment a solid choice for those interested in steadily growing destinations in a moment where the global tourist market is barely recovering.
