Entertainment at Blanca Blue Gala for Los Mangos Library

The staff and volunteers at the Puerto Vallarta Public Library, Biblioteca Los Mangos, have been working extra time to ensure that the upcoming Black & White Gala fund raiser, scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 22nd at Blanca Blue Restaurant, will be a success.
The evening will start off with the wonderful Real de America Mariachi, the only mariachi in Puerto Vallarta with a conservatory trained musical director, Christian Lupercio, himself the son of Manuel Lupercio, who founded three mariachi groups in the region and proudly takes directions from his son. They will be playing for you as you arrive around the pool of the Garza Blanca Hotel for your welcome cocktails, the architecture of the place will frame brilliantly the sunset over Los Arcos.
Just before dinner peruse the wonderful items up for silent auction, amongst them a 2 night stay at the luxurious Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort, a one night stay at Hacienda San Angel and a 2 night stay at Villa Gantz in Guadalajara; dinners at Kaiser Maximilian, Hacienda Xochitl, Mikado and Trio; massages, rounds of golf, yoga at Davannayoga and wonderful raffles for stays at two of the most spectacular villas in the Mismaloya area. A valuable Agustin Castro painting will be raffled as the main item.
As we are fed by the most raved about restaurant team at Blanca Blue, headed by Miguel Andres Hernandez, we will enjoy wine pairing and tequila sipping provided by Hacienda Vieja. Everardo Camacho, the sexiest guitar player in Puerto Vallarta, and his group of friends will serenade us with jazz and Mexican music.
Sharon Baughman-White and Kathy Overly will delight us with a duet, followed by a solo by Kathy and young Andrea Aragon singing a wonderful piece by Ennio Morriconne in her second public appearance. The DJ from Winners will make us dance til the end of the evening, while Josef Kandoll, Los Mangos Library's exclusive photographer, makes sure we are eternalized in disc or print.
