The School of Champions is a charitable program run by Feed the Children Vallarta, which offers educational opportunities to kids from underprivileged backgrounds. This year they are very happy to announce that they will be running a summer camp for four weeks, starting on July 12th and finishing on August 6th.

Children from some of the poorest areas of Puerto Vallarta will participate in activities including arts and crafts, sports, indoor games, computing and day trips, and the activities will be run primarily in English in an effort to immerse them in the language, which is so important for them in a tourist economy like that of Puerto Vallarta.

Through these summer camps, our students are engaged in fun and productive activities during their summer vacation, while meeting new people, learning new skills and practising their English.

Sound good? We're currently looking for volunteers to help run activities from 10 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday. Volunteering with these kids is enormously fun and rewarding, and is a great way to contribute to their education and hence improve their chances in life.

If you can't offer the time to help out personally, you can support them financially - just $25 USD covers all of the expenses for one child to experience summer camp.
