After a busy summer, on October 1st Galleria Dante will reopen its doors for the 15th year in Puerto Vallarta, and we have some news to share with you.

1. We are celebrating our 15th Anniversary this fall.

2. The Galleria Dante website is 99% updated - summer discounts still apply, this also applies to our lay-away plan. Please look for your favorite artist offering discounts between 20, 25 & 30% until the end of September 2010.

We have several artists that had not been previously featured on our website: Miguel Angel del Campo, Janice Reuland, Fernando Diaz, Ignacio Guerrero, Linda Kauffmann, David Martinez. We also invite you to review our Estate sale items, we will have new items this fall.

3. Starting on October 1st, Galleria Dante will be open Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. For the month of September we are open by appointment. We are excited to announce two new members to our sales staff, Oscar Pena Velasco and Nicolas Le Guern, both come to us with years of experience. Rodolfo Choperena, has left and will be opening his own gallery in October. Other galleries are also opening on our block – more information to follow.

5. For those of you planning a trip to Vallarta this year. If you are planning on staying north of town, remember traffic will be slow. Over the last two weeks, rain has compromised the north bound bridge joining Vallarta with Nuevo Vallarta. Mud slides and flooding have also affected many communities north of town. It may take many months to rebuild, but the community is rallying together. Click HERE for related stories.

6. In August, we lost our brother Gino Guarniere. He was a big help to us over the years, having helped with the restaurant, then the website and general computer issues. He will be greatly missed. Since he had lived here off and on over the past 20 years, many of you knew him. We also extend our condolences to our friends & clients who also lost loved ones in 2010.
