Real Estate in Puerto Vallarta - Now is the Time to Buy

It’s the people that make the difference in real estate. Check out Nicole Martin's Realtor 365, a new video series that offers an "inside the industry" introduction to top Puerto Vallarta real estate professionals.
In today’s "buyer’s market," if you want a good deal you have to be a visionary — to be able to see value before anyone else does. To sit and wait for someone to offer you a good deal, you’ll be sitting on the sidelines. If you want a good deal, you have to ask for it. There are a lot of Exceptional Value Properties out there.

It is very hard to predict what will happen in 2011, but the growth in beautiful Bay of Banderas is inevitable and will continue. There are many new projects on the horizon. Some will take off and some won’t. If you are a buyer, please educate yourselves before making a decision and make sure you are well represented by a reputable agency and an AMPI (Mexican Association of Professional Realtors) affiliated real estate agent.

Buying real estate in Puerto Vallarta can be a very easy procedure and if you are shopping for a realtor, be sure to ask him/her questions similar to the following:

1. Why did he/she move to the Bay of Banderas? What attracted him/her?

2. How long have he/she been practicing real estate?

3. Ask him/her to give you 5 reasons why you should choose to work with him/her.

4. Ask him/her if they can provide you with some owner references?

5. Ask him/her if they are involved with the community and if they have any charity that they support or participate in?

6. Ask him/her if they own their own home in Puerto Vallarta and if yes, ask them how they chose the home they did?

The final question is great because you can get insight into how involved your realtor is in the community and knowledge of the buying experience.

Making a move to Mexico can be a marvelous experience! Please contact your Prudential agent for further information.
