While visiting USA and interacting with people there, I see a lot of uncertainty among the baby boomers regarding their future and safety of their retirement savings. Everybody wants to live a peaceful retired life in some tropical paradise, access to world class health care and first world amenities at very affordable prices. But for them it all seems out of reach after the recession. But they are wrong! The answer is right in front of their face. Mexico!

Just south of border is Mexico which has numerous towns suited for retirees, totally safe and secure, have well developed retirement communities and health care of American standards. Majority of Americans I talked to had security concerns, but when they were told about the actual ground situation, they were more receptive to the idea. They had other concerns like affordability, weather, and healthcare. So, I decided to write an article which will educate US and Canadian citizens about why Mexico and more specifically Puerto Vallarta is their best bet for retirement.

• Secure Investment: At a time when USA is still struggling with economic downturn and outlook doesn't look too promising, Mexico has managed to stave off recession and tourism in cities like Puerto Vallarta is booming again. Puerto Vallarta is witnessing surge in tourist activity as well as is a perennial favorite with expat community, which means that Puerto Vallarta Real Estate appreciation is almost guaranteed. Puerto Vallarta Real Estate investment is safe, secure and gives good returns.

• Natural Beauty: Puerto Vallarta's beauty is captivating. It is abound with natural wonders and great climate. It has endless white beaches along the bay of Banderas and crystal clear waters. It gives multitude of options to enjoy - relax on the beach, indulge in water sports or watch marine wildlife. Puerto Vallarta won't let you down for even a moment.

• Rich Heritage: Puerto Vallarta is a unique city with old world charm. It has an art and culture scene which attracts artists and creative people from all over the world. It has many theatres and art gallery which can enthrall any one with a taste in arts.

• Thriving Expat Community: Over the years, Puerto Vallarta has attracted over fifty thousand US and Canadian citizens to its shore who now call it as their home. This expat community is very closely bonded and very active. A large expat community also means that the amenities and services here have been scaled to American standards. You can be assured that you won't be missing out on any luxury while living in Puerto Vallarta.

• Low Cost of Living: Mexico has a low cost of living which means that your dollar will stretch longer. Your recession hit savings will be able to support you for more years.
