Eventful Moments Vallarta (EM Vallarta) recently announced it will expand its wedding services to grow and support gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) couples who are seeking destination wedding and event planning services in the Puerto Vallarta region, and throughout select locations in Mexico.

The majority of the company’s business will remain targeted at mainstream weddings, but will now provide an additional focus supporting the GLBT community, their rights for marriage, and a full-service destination wedding offering.

EM Vallarta is one of the only companies in the Puerto Vallarta area that offers full-service destination wedding and event and planning services for the GLBT market, and has been doing so since its inception in 2003.

"We feel it is our responsibility to offer our wedding services to couples who are willing to commit their lives together, regardless of sexual preference. We will continue to support the institute of marriage, whether it be between a man and a woman, a man and a man, or a woman and a woman. What’s important to us is to offer couples a destination wedding experience like none other, to make their wedding day the most memorable day of their life," said Zac Campbell, president and founder of Eventful Moments Vallarta. "It’s unfortunate that not every wedding planning service in the area supports this idea."

Eventful Moments Vallarta is the oldest and largest, American-owned, destination wedding and event planning company in Puerto Vallarta with offices in Mexico and the United States. The company provides full-service design, logistics, planning and catering all under one roof, providing a single point of contact for those wishing to coordinate a destination wedding in Mexico.

"At EM Vallarta, we support the idea that marriage creates stable, committed unions. We believe that everyone must be supported in building stable, empowering, and respectful relationships. In light of the recent trends of gay teen suicide and bullying happening in the U.S., where most of our clients reside, it is our obligation to demonstrate that happy, committed relationships do exist and are possible for everyone. By providing a flawless destination wedding experience to our couples, we can do just that. No other destination wedding company can provide the support, understanding, best cross-cultural experience, personalization, customization, intimate understanding of your vision, than we can," said Barbara Fancsik, managing partner and senior event planner at Eventful Moments Vallarta.
