Mardi Gras at the River Café

For the past three years, The River Café has been bringing a taste of Mardi Gras to Puerto Vallarta, and this year is no exception. For the entire month of February, they are serving up a two course menu of New Orleans style cooking that starts with a Mesclun Greens Salad with Jalapeńo Cornbread and your choice of their famous BBQ Ribs, Jambalaya, Shrimp Etouffee, Jump Fried Atchafalaya Catfish or Bourbon Street Steak for only $299 pesos.

Finish off your Mardi Gras celebration with something sweet, such as their New Orleans Style Bread Pudding or Black Bottom Pecan Pie. All month long, The River Café stays true to the spirit of Mardi Gras with an abundance of outstanding Cajun food served in a festive atmosphere, so don't delay, make your reservations TODAY!

Valentine's Day at The River Café

Looking for a romantic way to celebrate Valentine's Day? This year, you have four days to get it right. From February 11th through 14th, celebrate your love at The River Café with a special three course dinner for 2 and a bottle of wine for only $950 pesos. Willie and Lobo are Back!

Between 1993 and 2006, on 10 albums and countless performances that transported listeners to far flung musical destinations like a magic carpet, Gypsy violinist Willie Royal and Flamenco guitarist Wolfgang "Lobo" Fink stylized sounds from around the world - Gypsy, Celtic, Latin, Middle Eastern and Western swing - into a blend that bedazzled listeners.

Willie and Lobo first met in a Mexican cantina in 1983 and began performing together in the early 1990's before recording their first album and making official a pairing whose sound was almost impossible for fans to describe - until the two went their separate ways a few years ago.

Today, the famous duo are back together again, opening up their tour in Mexico with a five-day event at The River Café from February 15th-19th starting at 8 pm nightly. Make your reservations now to ensure that you don't miss their fantastic show and a delicious dinner. (Minimum consumption: $500 pesos pp.)
