The Prudential No-Nonsense Q&A Happy Hour at the No Name Cafe Bar and Grill in the Paradise Business Center brought a diverse turnout. This was the first of what is to be a weekly event hosted by Prudential.

Complimentary Margaritas and a variety of salsas and chips were enjoyed while people got to know each other; then the questions and answers began with earnest.

Nuevo Vallarta property owners Bill and Jennifer from Minnesota brought visiting friends and took the opportunity to ask questions regarding current capital gains law. Host agent Grace Ramirez clarified the process and responded to their concerns.

Chrisann y Layn Boucher, property seekers from Salmon Arm, BC, and owners at Playa Royale, came to ask about the validity of bank trusts (Fideicomisos), which pertain to the use of a fiduciary system for foreign ownership of real property in the restricted zones of Mexico.

Hugo y Carmen Santa-Maria, of Villa Magna, stopped in to say hello with their Prudential agent, Veronica Flores. They eagerly agreed to participate by asking their own questions regarding the closing process and what was required from a seller's standpoint, commenting that they had experience with purchasing, but they realized that selling was a new process for them. They also commented that they were happy they had a strong and knowledgeable team like Prudential working for them.

Sales executive Nicole Martin, who is leading these ongoing events, says. "I hope we can lower the barriers and get a real social hour going where property owners can meet property owners and first time buyers can mingle and see just how easy it is to turn a dream into a reality."
